“Giannina grew up in Monument, Colorado where she would graduate high school in 2001. She attended college on the west and east coast studying from Beklee College of Music. Giannina spent time in India tutoring Tibetan Monks English in 2004. After receiving her Bachelors in Music from Berklee in 2007 with an emphasis in Guitar, she headed back west to teach and perform locally. Gia Ashe and the White Collar Criminal is a group of Denver musicians that have come together performing original music at local venues. Influences include Paul Simon, Ben Harper, Nikka Costa and Bonnie Raitt. Desiree Hirschfield (fiddle) is a full time private violin instructor. Dean Hirschfield (percussion) is a freelance percussionist in the Denver area. Stephan Hume (guitar/vocals) runs the successful Rock n’ Roll school Band Dynamics. Na’im McKee (Upright Bass) is a Business Process Analyist for MoneyGram International.”

Currently Giannina teaches for Denver’s Music Together, Paul Green’s School of Rock and Swallow Hill Music Association.
